theDIYpal a wiki website for the home improvement community was launch early July. This website is an open edit website and is open to everyone who wants to submit and edit articles. Users can post aticles about their hobbies, how to home improvement subjects and their expertise on any of the subject matter for the building industry. Users are able to site promote their website, industry or company or as individuals. Professionals and amateurs are all welcome.
The building industry are able to post articles that are beneficial to the general public as well as post articles to promote their industry, products or services. The main goal is to bring the general public and the industry together, create a community base knowledge about the home improvement and building industry that benefits both the individuals and industry and also serve the purpose of educating, promoting and a place to do research about subjects that are inline with the websites categories.
The service is free and there is no limit how many articles a user can post. Most of the contents are under the creative commons attribution-sharealike 3.0 unported license unless otherwise noted. Author's attribution requirements must be followed when editing and republishing theDIYpal contents.
No log in necessary to post or edit but must have an account created to upload materials.
